It ensures all the training needed to complete our work to a high and safe standard is met. We invest in our decorating business in many ways; one is by purchasing and using some of the best painting equipment on the market. Such as dust extractions units, paint sprayers and access equipment to allow the decorating work completed to be of the best standard. Without having the correct decorating equipment at hand, our decorating work and finished results would be compromised. Our decorators continue to seek new methods for completing decorating projects we complete to the highest standard; by attending various events to view and try new equipment first hand to see what benefits this will bring our decorators, company and customers.

Any materials provided by Fresh Start Decorators is of the highest quality from trade companies such as Barrentine, Zinsser Paints and Dulux Trade Akzonobel. All products have been tried and tested by our decorators; so our decorators know they do what they say on the tin. This helps to prevent unforeseen issues occurring; and a job being done lasting the expected time with proper preparation, application and products being used.

Fresh Start Decorators hold public liability insurance and have a training and development programme in place to help prevent any mishaps from ever occurring. The programme highlights any possible areas training may help an individual; and as part of our health and safety management system it is all documented.

Toolbox talks, risk assessments, method statements and other parts that form part of the CDM pack are also completed; this all helps to prevent accidents ever occurring. However in the very unlikely event that something did go wrong; please rest assured, as we hold the correct insurance if ever needed.

Fresh Start Decorators have a health and safety management system in place that covers over 14 sections. The pack contains Health and Safety procedures, policy and forms along with Coshh assessments, risk assessments and method statements. Also more detailed documents in the CDM section for projects requiring; such as, permits to work, work at height plans, parking plans and routes.

The training and development documents are kept with review dates, course certificates and licenses. The company hold relevant documents for approved subcontractors (such as scaffolding companies) confirming they have all the certificates and training required prior to being hired by Fresh Start Decorators.
